Wahgwan Kiki Releases First Project “Every Beat Is A Jam EP”

Every beat is a jam describes WAHGWAN KIKI as a seasoned creator that displayed his prowess and musicality on this masterpiece; he produced four (4) tracks off this project while the other two were produced by NENZO (Not Later) and KING BEAT (Mammy) respectively, although these tracks were co-produced by the genius.

This project was first released in May 2020 during the pandemic only on the Audiomack platform reaching a total of 2,448 plays under the KIKI SOUND PROMOTION imprint before its re-release on major platforms in September 2023.

The decision to name this project EVERY BEAT IS A JAM (EBIAJ) comes from the in-depth rather than the artist/producer’s love for beat making. Kiki has created four (4) out of six (6) beats for this project and also given meaning to the sounds created single-handedly.

“Being a producer goes more beyond cooking up sounds together, are your sounds going to be relatable? Do you have what it takes to push further? These questions bothered my mind and I gotta resolve to create solutions on my beat which in turn led me to make this project.”
After many years of sound crafting, Wahgwan Kiki decided to gift his fans a musical project “Every Beat Is A Jam (EBIAJ)”. An EP that featured six tracks and only one artiste on its third track, the fact that justice was made on all the beats can never be underrated.
EBIAJ starts off with MIRINDA as its lead single, following suite is HER BODY; a track that exalts dark skin ladies and the joy that comes with having a naturally blessed skin girl. COME MY WAY featuring Starry Willy who is a close associate appears as the third track off the album, an African dancehall song with mixed melodies. NOT LATER produced by NENZO is next on the track-list while SHO YE KO MA RIBE, a track that describes a typical Nigerian love approach which of course didn’t turn out well and lastly is MAMMY, the last track off the album which was recorded as far back as
2014 and also produced by KING BEAT an associate of Wahgwan Kiki who made a sample of P-Square’s 2011 hit single BEATIFUL ONYINYE.
Although the majority of the songs were recorded before 2021 but the sounds that come from each track never fades. Being an artiste and a producer at the same time is a peculiar thing but being distinct is above all.

Wahgwan Kiki cites P-Square, 2 Baba, Sound Sultan, Fela as great mentors while giving regards to the big guns of Afro Beats referencing Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, 9ice and every other artiste threading the great way.

“Music is the real weapon, we learn to fight with it, we live to fight with it!”
